Free Twosday 2022 Math Worksheets for Grades K-8

It’s not every day that you find a once-in-a-lifetime event on your calendar. Now that 2022 has arrived, you can circle the twenty-second day of February on your calendar and label it as Twosday. Why? Because the twenty-second day of February, 2-22-22, is the twenty-second day of the second month of the two-thousandth and twenty-second year. And if that is not already enough twos for you, this special date actually falls on a Tuesday—or Twosday, which is hands-down the most numerically significant day of the calendar year.

Just to recap, here is why February 22nd, 2022 is such an insanely significant date (and one that will not happen again for another one thousand years!):

  •  February is the 2nd month of the calendar year

  • February 22nd is the 22nd day of the second month

  • The year is 2022

  • The day of the week is a Tuesday

Are you ready to celebrate Twosday 2022? If you’re looking for fun Twosday activities to share with your students either in your classroom or at home, then you’ll love our brand new math activities made specifically for this Twosday. Go ahead and include the following Twosday Math Activity Worksheets for Grades K-8 into your lesson plan for the first week of February, specifically February 22nd, 2022.

Our free Twosday activities are fun, engaging, and easy to print and share in person or display on any size monitor or screen. They are tiered by difficulty and grade level and are best used for challenging students in grades K-8.

Holiday-themed math activities, worksheets, and puzzles are some of the best ways to challenge your students and give them meaningful learning opportunities to practice and develop their math and reasoning skills and number sense in a more engaging way (especially compared to simply having your students work on repetitive practice worksheets).

Today’s activities even help young students to develop algebraic thinking skills years before they ever start taking any algebra or advanced math courses. And every activity includes a complete answer key.

We recommend using these activities at the beginning of a lesson as a warm-up exercise or anticipatory set or at the end of a lesson as a cool-down activity or exit ticket. Of course, they can also be used at any other point during a lesson to supplement your instruction.
